Elements of great interior design

We know there are various elements that influence interior design. All these elements form a united impression of space. When all the elements united in a good way, there will be a harmony inside the interior design. Various elements give their influence in interior design, such as color, form, composition, and so forth. If we can choose the appropriate color for a room, for example, the room may present in its maximum appearance.

To select the appropriate element for a room, we need to consider various aspects. We can not just go to a store and buy paint, wallpaper, furniture and combine them in a room to see its result. Here is the importance of design, so that we can get the best interior design, as a masterplan for the entire space. Design planning is not only for the interior design only, but certainly also for the overall design of the house. Especially for interior design, following are the elements that affect your interior design:




Space itself is the most basic elements, where it has a variety of aspects such as the dimensions of length, width, wide, height of room. Here we can mention the room is wide, or narrow, high, light, dark, and so forth. Whether a door is large or small. Furniture that can be large, small, or slim legs. This is the matter of including elements of space.

Forms of objects. Floor rooms have a form, whether the space is a box, oval, circle, rectangle, and so forth. Whether the form the window is box, high, long, or flaring. Whether the form of furniture is round, square, and so forth.

Line. This element always present in a room. boundary between the two walls is a line. Each boundary between two other areas, such as corners of cabinet, are always limited by the lines. Wallpapers also sometimes applied with line motives.

Texture. Can be seen on the surface of various objects in the room. Surface material objects may show the effect of these materials, such as the effect of soft, rough impression, and so forth. These are impressions we can bring with feelings in a room, such as the comfort of a sofa when we saw it soft and inviting, or the effect of coldness of the floor with shiny material.

Light. As an elements that can improve the appearance of a room, light can be applied as the most important element. A room can be easily made with the various effects with using light, for example, a light beam that is applied on a wall can help make the wall appear prominent.

Color. This element is the easiest element that can be a starting point to give a different effect inside a room. Imagine a room is given a different color, such as giving your bedroom a green color, of course, will be different when given a different color like beige.
