Pipes that are used should be resistant to corrode, rust and leak that can reduce water quality. Water pipes should be as short as possible to save energy and building material. For example: hot water pipes should be placed near the heating machine.
Water pipes should not be zig-zag to allow smooth flow, especially for grey water (water that comes from the sink, used bath water, etc), and most importantly black water (water from closet). Clean water flow usually run very smoothly so that pipes can be made zig-zag along the wall. Howerver, dirty water pipes should be made without sharp corners.
Grey water pipes from bath water, sink, washtafel and other source should be treated before it runs to city water system. We can use fat catcher, the kind of container that holds fat and dirty waters, that can be cleaned regularly. Black water is treated with septic tank to make it more environmentally friendly. Now there are manufactured septic tanks system that can be purchased and placed in home area with good sewage system.
After processed, water can be put in to the filtrating well. This step infiltrate processed water back into the ground. Note that this water still contain minerals that can be dangerous to heath, that is why it should be placed far enough from water well that we use for drinking water. When we use well water for drinking, we should use water purifier that will remove hazardous substances.
