How to arrange entertainment room. Audio-visual equipment arrangement

Movie fans usually place their film posters, dvd collection, sound systems, at their most beloved room: entertainment room. One of the most pleasant room in a house is the entertainment room, that is specially used for entertainment in our home. Watch TV, see movies, karaokee, and listend to music can be enjoyed in this entertainment room

One thing to note is what kind of ambience inside the room that we want, meaning what is the first impression we want when entering an entertainment room. You can make this room have the effect of darkness (so that our attention will be fully given to the TV or computer screen), softness (so that you feel more relaxed), or a green ambience from a garden beside the room, or other impression that might interest you.

Center of attention and audio-vsual equipment
Center of attention inside an entertainment room is usually given to television or computer set, audio and visual equipment, decorations may also an attractive center of attention. The decoration set can be made of wallpaper, wood panels, or be painted according to your taste. Painting or movie themed posters can also be applied in this room. Sophisticated entertainment room may use LCD projector and screen.



Entertainment room can also be completed with sound insulation layer of cloth, foam, or specially manufactured product. This layer helps muffle sound reflection on the walls so that the sound from the audio system sounds better without reflection.

Audio system and speakers should be placed according to recomendations of the manufacturers, such as what is the best distance to put better audio systems. This is important because it will affects the quality of the sound produced. Speakers can be placed around TV screen, placed on the wall, or have their own feet that can be removable.



Seating.
Usually, sofas and chairs for special entertainment facilities are placed in front of video and audio devices. Make sure that we place TV screen with a not too sharp corner. Recommendations for screen perspective is 60 degrees for a non distortion view.

Seat should also be made comfortable, ergonomical, because we sometimes we sit for hours in entertainment room.

Provide the seatings with pillows to sit on the seatings and on the floor, so that you and your family feel comfortable using this room. Usually, children choose to sit on the floor when playing video games or while watching movies with friends.
