Making home satisfy our biological and psichological need

A house is the skin, such as shellfish, which have outer skin, and also with the house as outside our skin. As a 'skin', of course, the house can be categorized as needs that are biologically. House protects us from heat, cold, rain, the weather, and so forth. Various types of houses above the earth made by considering the climate around, meaning, the house is a human adaptation to nature, a way to defend themselves. Designs can be created for this purpose, for example, to protect the roof from the hot sun, with window insulation used to defend against the interference of both worlds.

In addition to the biological defense, the house should also maintain the surrounding area as a response to the need to interact well with our environment. For example, the building should enter the area outside the house as part of the beauty in the house. Examples of other houses with additional facilities such as equipment or energy efficient solar panels. Design houses are also usually ecological design house that is healthy, because many potential natural can be used to support health care in the home.



Houses also provide a psychological sense of security, and meet the most basic human needs in the privacy and 'personal space' of each of the residents. Personal space is a part of the room with other people, namely the basic human instinct to maintain personal space of other human beings. For example; bedroom been approved or are restricted from the other room, because here are needed the most high privacy and personal. Space is the family room where family members can freely interact with a personal space that is not too far. Houses also provide a visual limit for one person with another person through the wall of the house.
