How to make white, soft ambience living room

Sometimes we like the soft effect of a room, and it can be achieved through room design. The soft look of a room will give a 'welcoming' impression for everybody enjoying the room. This is when design principles take its role in our home design. Impression of softness in a room may help us feel more relax, not only because of its ambience, also because it can be elegant, and invite us to sit and have a warm chat. Nevertheless, this ambience of room may be arranged with accents of masculine design, such as using strong color like black or red.

The soft ambience of a room may have design characters as follows;

colors are used effectively in soft and pastel colors, white colors, warm colors, and may be strengthened with strong colors like black, red, green, such as the above example. Neutral colors such as black, gray, brown, and green does not reduce the overall effect of the room, because these colors can be combined well with other colors in the entire color scheme.



Using transparent materials like curtains, light can get in to the room, with dark-light effect that can be so interesting. Materials can also helps to strengthen the ambience, for instance using soft look and texture material for sofa, cushion, curtains and other objects.
