Overview about cabinets and its wood material

Cabinet, a storage place that is usually made of wood or other sheet material, is a case to store things at home. With it we can arrange a variety of objects, such as important documents, to be well organized. At the kitchen we can arrange things in the kitchen in tidy and easy placement to find when we need.

- Living room cabinet, usually store various objects such as the family's books, magazines, and so forth.





Create your own cabinet or buy a cabinet?

When we have the skills to make tools from wood, we can create your own. In this case, it is necessary to have the expertise of a carpenter (few people have this expertise, it might be you, and it will be a fun idea at weekend).

By using the material efficiently we may have to decide how we will make the cabinet. First make sure that we will place the cabinet and adjust the dimensions of length and size of the cabinet.

Many brands now make furniture products with 'Do It Yourself' (DIY) label or furniture that can be built and installed, and have their own modules (parts) that can be built and tailored to the size of our room. I have a table that I bought and I build it my own with some brochure clue from the shop. There are some types of wood to create cabinets, they are solid sheet of wood, Plywood, particle board, and other types. Solid sheets of wood is made with the cut made directly from a log. This is quite expensive, such as teak wood sheet board. We know there are many types of furniture from solid wood for this type of traditional furniture, with carved wood and the texture that is very interesting.

Plywood is a type of timber that is made from a combination of several thin sheets of wood into wood. This type is commonly used to make furnitures sold in the market with a brand and the quality is quite adequate in the sense stronger than particle board. Another name for this material is multiplex.

Particle board is made of wood dust from wood and other materials, usually made for a cheap furniture cabinet. This can be used for a variety of furniture such as cupboards and cabinet, but with a slightly lower quality because it can change shape when a given load.
